Check List for New Graduate Students

1. Get your visa validated (international students only)
2. Get your Social Security number (international students only)
3. Personnel papers (TAs and RA). Go to Graduate Office in Skiles 125
4. Health insurance: mandatory
5. Registration holds. Clear any holds based on health, final transcript, etc.
6. Buzz card. Get this in the Bookstore Mall
7. Computer account. See Computer Support, Skiles 155
8. Advising and classes: Meet with Graduate Coordinator You must register for at least 12 hours, at most 3 as audit.
9. Payment of fees
10. GT orientation
11. Registration for parking
