Theory Day

This event is held in conjunction with the 50th Annual IEEE Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science and the 20th Anniversary of the Algorithms, Combinatorics, & Optimization Program at Georgia Tech. Theory Day will host 4 distinguished speakers:

  • Richard Karp, What Makes an Algorithm Great?
  • Mihalis Yannakakis, Computational Aspects of Equilibria
  • Noga Alon, Disjoint paths, isoperimetric problems, and graph eigenvalues
  • Manuel Blum, Can (Theoretical Computer) Science come to grips with Consciousness?

There is no fee to attend but registration is required.
