We realize that many students will be coming from out of town and that they will need a place to stay on either the Friday or Saturday night of the competition. PME has surveyed some of the local hotels, and listed them here for your convenience. Please call the specific hotel for an up-to-date price. If you have any substantial problems with any of these hotels, please let us know and they will promptly be removed from the list.
Be sure to request the Georgia Tech rate when making your reservation. Some of these hotels may have discount rates for Georgia Tech event guests.

Parents, other family members, and other teachers will need to make plans to bring a lunch or visit one of the restaurants on our list of lunch alternatives. A few suggestions are listed below:
Tin Drum Asian Cafe Technology Square------just take the trolley! Tin Drum Asian Cafe makes its debut at Technology Square, offering a mix of Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, Malaysian, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. To-go orders are also available.
Moe's Southwest Grill Technology Square------just take the trolley! Moe's Southwest Grill is famous for its fresh burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and salads as well as its eclectic decor and music. Moe's celebrates pop culture, offering menu items with names like "Joey Bag of Donuts" and "The Full Monty."
Fifth Street Ribs and Blues Technology Square------just take the trolley! Fifth Street Ribs and Blues serves barbecue and the blues. The restaurant, owned by father and son team Ron and Brett Brooks, is open for lunch and dinner.
Rocky Mountain Pizza Located at 10th Street and Hemphill Avenue. Rocky Mountain is a favorite of Georgia Tech students, as it is located right outside of campus and is known for great pizza! Generally under $10 a person.
