Undergraduate Summer Research Program

Undergraduate students are invited to apply for an eight-week research program sponsored by the National Science Foundation. Program participants will receive a summer stipend of approximately $5000 to conduct mathematical research under the supervision of a professor. The time period for most projects will be the long summer session, but this can be negotiated with the supervising professor. Contributions by undergraduate participants sometimes result in publication of papers in the peer-reviewed literature with the student listed as an author. Besides submitting the on-line application below, a current transcript (unofficial is OK) is required and either a letter of reference from a non-Georgia Tech mathematics professor or if applicable, a Georgia Tech mathematics professor who we can contact as a reference. Students can put their transcripts in Professor Belegradek's mailbox, Skiles Room 117,  or slide it under his office door, Skiles Room 240B, or postal mailed (not emailed) along with any non-Georgia Tech reference letter to:
