I am responsible for the computing environment in the School of Mathematics. I am also the IT Director for the College of Sciences, where my responsibilities include advising the Dean and consulting with faculty on various IT and research computing issues.
My current research interests are in scientific computing, especially parallel methods. I am co-author of the textbook An Introduction to Parallel and Vector Scientific Computing.
