MATH 1711 Finite Mathematics:
Maple Explorations
Here you will find a collection of Java explorations designed to help
you in your studies. The following online resourses were written with this
course in mind.
- A Java applet to graph functions,
and an introduction to Maple commands. Follow this link to review
the graphs of various functions using the Java applet. In addition, you
can experiment with some introductory Maple commands and learn how to
draw graphs in Maple.
- A Java applet to find the area underneath the
standard normal curve. Your textbook contains a table that
calculates areas underneath the standard normal curve. This Java applet
calculates them for you--just type in the value of Z, and the answer
appears on the screen! The Java applet calculates the probability
