Grader Information for the School of Mathematics
Graders for courses in the
School of Mathematics are hired on the request of the faculty for
courses that do not have a recitation section. Please note
that we do NOT hire graders for the majority of our first- and
second-year courses.
PLEASE
DO NOT APPLY FOR A GRADER POSITION UNLESS YOU ARE ABLE TO GRADE AT
THE 3000-LEVEL OR ABOVE! You
may find the syllabi for our math courses at the site:
https://www.math.gatech.edu/academic/courses/
.
Applications for grading positions are
accepted at any time of the year, but hiring decisions are usually
not made until the first two weeks of class in any given term.
The number of available positions varies from term to term.
Students
Wishing to Apply for Grading Positions
If you wish to
apply for a grading position in the School of Mathematics, please
first read the important
grader information page. You may then fill out the
application
form. If you have any questions about the application process,
please contact Ms. Klara Grodzinsky by e-mail at

or by phone at 404-894-4397.
Instructors Needing a
Grader
If you are an instructor who would like to request
a grader for your course, please fill out the grader
request form. You will need to complete this form even if you
have already found your own grader. We do not hire graders for
classes that have a teaching assistant. Grader positions are filled
based on the qualifications of the applicants, so please send your
request as soon as possible to ensure that a grader will be available
for your course. You may not receive your grader assignment until
the end of the second week of classes. Please note that in some
cases, you may have to find your own grader if there are no
applicants who are qualified to grade your course.
