Undergraduates win NSF Fellowship and Honorable Mention

The School of Mathematics undergraduates Michelle Delcourt and Melanie Stam have won a prestigious three year NSF fellowship for graduate study in mathematics. David Lowry received an Honorable Mention. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in fields within NSF's mission. Their selection was based on outstanding abilities and accomplishments, as well as potential to contribute to strengthening the vitality of the US science and engineering enterprise.
