34th Southeastern Analysis Meeting (SEAM) conference, March 23-25, 2018

Plenary speakers:

Dima Bilyk (University of Minnesota)
Marianna Csiornei (The University of Chicago)
Ben Jaye (Clemson University)
Yumeng Ou (MIT)

Krystal Taylor (Ohio State University)
Elisabeth Werner (Case Western Reserve University)
Brett Wick (Washington University at St. Louis)

The Southeastern Analysis Meetings has established a strong tradition in the US as one of the prime venues to bring together seasoned and novel researchers, including graduate students, to exchange recent progress and advances in various areas of Analysis. These areas include, in particular, the subfields of Harmonic Analysis, Convex Analysis, Complex Analysis, Operator Theory and Probability, as well as many others. Each year a different university, in the broadly defined “southeastern” region hosts this meeting.

The 34th SEAM meeting will take place at Georgia Tech in March, 2018.

There will be parallel sessions for contribute 20 minute-long talks. Details on registration, logistics, and contributed talks will come later.

In addition, a special session on topics related to system theory will be used to celebrate Joe Ball's contribution in the area in the occasion of his 70th birthday. Joe has been the leading expert in the area for more than thirty years and he has influenced generations of mathematicians to enter this exciting area in the intersection of System Theory and Operator Theory.

Register here. Please submit title and abstract by March 5, 2018, in the registration form or via email to the organizers seam34organizers@lists.gatech.edu.

More details to follow.

SEAM34 is partially sponsored by the College of Science at Georgia Tech.
